Based in Lagos, Nigeria, the Joe Nwiloh Heart Foundation (JNHF) was established to help bridge and reduce the wide disparity gap to technologically advanced heart disease treatments in sub–Saharan Africa. JNHF provides financial aid to heart patients needing lifesaving surgery and other interventional treatments. Through educational programs and preventive initiatives, JNHF also aims to reduce the burden of rheumatic heart disease in children and adolescents.
